Managed hardware development team for the APEX integrated cockpit with a staff of 21 engineers. Received patent #7210964 for an easy to assemble connector backshell with superior EMI performance which is used in the APEX system. Selected to serve on the Honeywell Avionics Displays Council in Phoenix, AZ (4 years total). Received an award from the Honeywell Corporation Chief Technology Officer for significant technical contributions and subsequent cost savings for the next generation 3D graphics driver development project for Aerospace applications.

Selected to be a part of the AlliedSignal (later Honeywell) Advanced Business Group assigned to develop next-generation avionics systems. I designed the main-board hardware, wrote low-level software and systems engineering on the KX-155A Nav/Com, KX-165A Nav/Com, KLN-89 GPS, KLN-89B GPS with precision approach. I authored white papers on engineering process improvement for upper-level management. I was chosen as the lead hardware engineer to develop the next generation GPS Navigator. The project evolved into the APEX Integrated Cockpit project and was done under AlliedSignal which later became Honeywell.

Developed hardware and software for large automated test systems for production and engineering development. Selected to train engineering teams on innovation and how to design products to be efficiently manufactured. Worked with product engineering teams to improve designs. This was done under AlliedSignal which later purchased Honeywell.

Developed hardware and embedded software for automated Avionics test systems at King Radio before being purchased by Bendix, then Allied Signal, then Honeywell.
