I am a graduate of the IIE's Varsity College - Durban North's Bachelor of Art in both English and Psychology. I have been a practitioner of ITF style Tae kwon-do since the age of six where I achieved my first dan black belt (and subsequently became a junior instructor in my school) at age thirteen and my second at age seventeen. Though not practicing in a school, I still actively train by myself and use the teaching and leading skills I have acquired from being an instructor in other areas of my life. Since 2020 I have worked as an Online English Tutor helping to improve the English speaking of non-native speakers around the world. Currently I am finishing the Coursera Google Data Analytics course and determined to afterwards learn more of the field and develop my career around the practice.Outside of work and my serious studies I enjoy learning in almost any form, actively making a hobby of absorbing interesting information and adjusting my thinking and understanding of the world accordingly. Mostly I enjoy learning human history (primarily ancient to Napoleonic) but I do greatly enjoy physics, chemistry, philosophy and psychology. I thoroughly believe accumulating knowledge to be its own reward and that everyone must be able to form educated opinions that are malleable to further accumulated knowledge. I also greatly enjoy creative outlets and would very much like to one day be a successful novelist.
