-Assure that all operation and maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner consistent with policies and procedures established for the wind farm site. This includes wearing essential safety equipment, including a personal fall arrest system, as well as identifying potential hazards on the job. - Climb wind towers and access wind turbines to perform composites repair & maintenance tasks. -Completing multiple layer blade repairs in the field. -Perform wet layup. -Removal of defect areas. Planning repair build up. Wet layup or infusion of glass back into blade. -Working with engineering and quality to establish best way to repair defects for repairs. -Completion of repair detail sheets for each repair performed.
