This role was my first away from retail and it being in the background allowed me to greater understand businesses beyond what is shown and how best to utilise multiple departments. During my time at Swatch I became an integral part of my team and occasionally took on the role of leader to pull everyone in the department together - organising tasks to reach the final goal. This position required high levels of concentration and a strong capability to multi-task, this included:Working under pressure inside a tight-knit team to fulfil all elements of the department by the allotted time.Handling high-value watches throughout multiple processes with high degrees of efficiency. Using the computer programme SAP to assign various details and accounts expeditiously. Performing additional quality control to each watch at every step in our department until the conclusion.Working to a deadline in all instances of: unpacking, SAP entry, image-capture for quality control, collating paperwork and materials for outgoing delivery with additional packing of complete watches being dispatched.During my time at Swatch it became my responsibility to ensure special Royal Mail packages were sent out accordingly. As my experience grew I became aware of previous misconceptions about their practices and through personal investigation discovered inappropriate insurance allocation, thereby saving money and preventing voided insurance claims.

During my time at Argos I worked in almost all positions that were available in a retail store; being flexible and extremely dependable made it easy for my managers to count on me to "get the job done", even in those roles I were suddenly placed into.
