In my role as Senior Policy Analyst, reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance (OTAA), I have had the privilege of supporting all 52 states, acting as the crucial link between the six Department of Labor Regional Coordinators. My advisory role has extended to companies, legislators, and other key stakeholders, providing them with insights and best practices for achieving their objectives within the framework of DOL OTAA policies, including specialized investigations into DACA recipient eligibility.I've also been instrumental in developing and disseminating legislative documents, policy guidance, and technical assistance strategies, enhancing the operational efficiency and impact of the TAA program across various agencies. This role demanded a proactive approach to education and advocacy, leading me to conduct regional presentations to sizable audiences, where I shared essential data, addressed common challenges, and outlined best practices for engaging with the OTAA Petition process. A significant achievement was my appointment as the primary contact for Delphi Technologies in response to major international trade disruptions.
