Last position held before retirement was Chief General Manager, Group Compliance Officer and Head Strategy Group. During period I was chiefly assigned to rebuild compliance strategy and its implementation in addition to framing/ suggesting new strategies having deliberated in committee of CGMs and concerned GMs for business development & follow up of related decisions taken by Board.

Worked as Head domestic operations in various capacities inter alia Recovery & special a/cs, Planning, MSME/ SME finance, Credit Monitoring, Legal & RTI.During period Special accomplishments were• Represented as member “Thorat Committee to formulate Comprehensive HR Policy – for RRBs” appointed by Ministry of Finance Government of India in 2007.• Also performed as Head/ Member of Various Committees constituted by Bank of Baroda from time to time on various issues. ______

Headed Large size Gramin Bank sponsored by Bank of Baroda, Central Government and State Government, which came into existence due to merger of seven Gramin Banks in Uttar Pradesh with its Head office at Raebareli. Challenge was to reconstruct/ merge systems & Procedures/ framing afresh in context of revised challenges, IR issues besides developing banking facilities in area of operation. Assignment continues till promotion to face new challenges as General Manager in Bank of Baroda. I also contributed as Member of Committee constituted by Government of India on various HR issues concerning Regional Rural Banks , Most of Recommendations of this committee were accepted and implemented by Government.

• Excelled in performing business development ( for Priority Sector finance) as second in line for domestic operation at Baroda Corporate centre. . As Zonal Head covering Operational, Administrative and Business Development responsibilities in three states.

Headed Shahjahanpur Gramin Bank on deputation from Bank of Baroda. This Bank was established under RRB Act in 1984 sponsored by Central Government, Bank of Baroda and UP State Government. During its first two years of operation during 1997 & 1998 it turned corner to profit making and also wiped out accumulated huge losses and thereafter continued operations on sound footing of Banking, generating surpluses providing Banking facilities from small size to midsize clientele inter alia emphasis on farm sector, SSI, SME and Retail. Not only various new strategies were followed/ products introduced, it as also a success story of development of cordial HR relations. The Bank was continuously recognized by parent bank as best RRB sponsored by them. Success story was also studied by NABARD and published. During 2000 I also presented a paper on 'PROFITS WITH OUTREACH' in NATIONAL SEMINAR ON BEST PRACTICES IN RRBs organised by NABARD.During period I was also assigned to head various committees constituted by Bank of Baroda on Organisation & Methods/ Computerisation/ HR issues etc concerning RRBs.
