Project’s primary focus was to migrate all of the enterprise’s J2EE application artifacts from the Dimensions source control archive to the IBM Rational ClearCase (UCM), ClearQuest, and Build Forge systems. As the Release Manager / Quality Assurance Manager, I hired and directed a team of analysts responsible for the design, implementation and day-to-day operation of the SCM, automated build, quality assurance, and release processes. I played a primary role in implementing the following technologies; Rational ClearCase / ClearQuest, VB, VC, C++, Java, Linux. Net Appliance and EMC file systems.My responsibilities included:• Hiring and managing four SCM / Build Engineers• Hiring and managing a Quality Assurance Team Lead and five Quality Assurance Analysts• Providing training and support to 350+ developers for SCM, build, and release processes • Directing the daily build and release of integration builds to development and testing teams (average of 500 separate PC and LINUX sub system integration builds a month)• Directing weekly production sub system releases and an average of eight complete production system releases yearly• Working closely with developers in reading compilation logs to identify errors and solutions for JAVA, C++, VC, and VB projects• Directing the integration, upgrading, and releasing of third-party application packages to the development, testing, and production environments• Directing the migrating of the PVCS source archive to ClearCase source archive.• Directing the design, development and implementation of an integrated build / release management system with ClearQuest to manage the releasing of 150 separate sub systems to the different test environments.• Working closely with architecture team to design and implement a standard GnuMake build utility that could support a multiple sub system build environment and automatically create release packages.

As a Project Manager / Sr. Technical Analyst Lead, I was responsible for the successful installation, data conversion, training and support of the Ameritech Library system.
