I am a chemical process development engineer with over a decade and a half of experience in novel chemical process scale-up and commercialization, with a particular focus on the critical materials space. I developed several processes and novel reactors that I developed from concept through to commercial application. I apply this skillset to help companies determine the right scale-up path, with builder of pilot- and demonstration-scale plants for the chemical process industries. I combine process engineering fundamentals with hands-on process development and innovation experience including several patents. I specialize in the challenging, difficult and dangerous; pilot/demonstration plant design, electrolyte synthesis, inorganic halogenation reactions, solid-gas chemistry, rare earth project development, next-generation electrowinning technologies, value-chain development and computational fluid dynamics.
