I was a student at UNT pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, with a Certification in Cyber Security in order to gain experience and grow in the competitive field of Software Engineering & Cyber Security. The most memorable experience I have working with computers is the time when my dad brought home a Windows 95 Compaq Desktop with 16 MB of ram inside. I remember being ‘Curious George’ with that fascinating piece of hardware. I wanted to learn everything I could about computers, and that hasn’t changed.After a few years, I began building custom desktops, and I haven’t purchased a desktop from any retail store since. All that experience made me good at solving problems related to computers which later helped me become a decent competitor throughout my middle to high school year competitions.During the high school years, my grandpa passed away with Alzheimer’s disease which led me to pursue a Biology Degree in College. Only later did I realize that it wasn’t my true calling and began to pursue what I know best. After all, my grandpa believed in learning what one loves to do the most. Today, I’m passionate to learn about software development. I began my intermediate experience in software development while working at Best Buy which opened me to a world of opportunities. It later helped me to make the decision in pursuing a computer science engineering degree.Currently, I enjoy working with teams at my current position to solve complex technical problems. Other than working on applications, I like to use my time to stay active by volunteering, mountain biking, hiking, camping, zip-lining, gaming, snowboarding, & playing sports like basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and cricket.
