Rudolf Schröder is a registered Town and Regional Planner (Pr. Pln.) and holds a Masters Degree in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Pretoria. He started his career working as a senior planner in a Pretoria based town-planning consultancy where he gained extensive experience in a number of town-planning land use management projects including township establishments, rezonings, consent and subdivisions. Rudolf worked at Bigen Africa between September 2008 and December 2012 as an Associate Principal and Project Manager in the Infrastructure Development Services (IDS) Division and the Development Finance & Advisory Services Division where his field of expertise included providing specialist inputs into the town planning legislative requirements of a development during all stages of the development cycle. From January 2013 to August 2016, Rudolf was appointed as Director: Development Planning at One G Services where he performed property consulting, development management and project management services on a range of private and public sector developments. Rudolf started working at Zutari (previously part of Aurecon) as a Professional Planner in September 2016, where he acts as an Integrated Human Settlement Development Consultant. He has gained extensive knowledge and experience as a Town Planner, Project Manager and Development Manager in a variety of property developments and large scale mixed-use developments. As a housing development consultant specialising in integrated human settlements, his expertise includes structuring projects in a way to effectively utilise the various government funding programmes for housing and infrastructure development as well as attracting private sector funding.
