I am part of a team responsible for testing and certifying Firewalls and Load Balancers in the VzB network, both VzB facing applications as well as VzW facing applications. The certification efforts include both software and hardware.- Worked on team responsible for testing, building, and swapping old Netscreen Firewalls with new Juniper srx345 firewallsacross the VzB VoIP footprint. The team was able to leverage Ansible Scripts to create Firewall configurations and more efficiently roll out a total of 120 firewalls in the network.- I am responsible for managing the Juniper teams that were contracted to test/certify, build, and swap old Netscreen firewalls with new Juniper srx4600 firewalls in the VzB VoIP footprint.As the Vendor Technical Manager for Firewalls, Routers and Load Balancers for the VzB Maintenance Engineering team, I have had a part in SOW negotiations, Software Alignment, Support Agreement discussions, and negotiations for major purchases for the following vendors:- Juniper (Firewalls, Switches and Routers)- F5 Load Balancers and FirewallsI also attend and participate in all Quarterly Business reviews with Juniper and F5, that are hosted at the Director and VP level.Another function I fill for my team is the Management of all SOW Based Professional Services Engineers employees and some Resident Engineers assigned to VzB and VzW. The scope of my management responsibility spans Blue Ally, Juniper, and F5.I have also recently taken the lead in working with Planning to set priorities for all of the projects our Infrastructure Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for today (present and future). This work includes assigning and scheduling work for the team, allowing us to balance the load across the team. This allows the team to be more efficient and complete more projects.

- Responsible for VOIP network designs for the VzB network.- Responsible for F5 Load balancer design for the SIP Signaling infrastructure.- Was responsible for the APAC Wholesale VoIP launch.
