A result-oriented food and agriculture professional with a sound understanding of organisational policies that lead to industrial resilience and sustainability in the global food sector. My greatest interests are sustainability and policies processes for agri-food systems development, food security and poverty alleviation among rural people. I have worked- as an intern and professional- on several agricultural projects that seek to alleviate hunger while reducing agriculture sector’s contribution to tropical deforestation. ▪ As a Food System Hero (volunteer) of the United Nations, I assist in advocating for safe, sustainable and equitable food systems through social media campaigns during annual People's Summit.▪ I have experience as a Community Extension Agent (CEA) for Ghana Cocoa Board over the past three years. My work as an assistant technical officer-field, involved sensitization and training rural farmers on Good Agricultural Practices--GAPs that increase land productivity and welfare of farmers in cocoa-growing communities in Ghana.▪ I also volunteered to Agricultural Cooperative Development International/Volunteers in Overseas Cooperative Assistance (ACDI-VOCA) in 2017 during my undergraduate studies. During this period, I educated smallholder farmers in the southern belt of Ghana on government policies and interventions that determine agricultural trends and the essence of adopting agricultural technologies.
