Dr. Vijayakumar is an Associate Professor of Microbiology in the College of Science Zulfi, Majmaah University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has a doctorate in Microbiology from Bharathidasan University, India. He has over 15 years’ experience in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical industry and microbiological research. He has written two books and published more than 30 research articles in the field of pharmaceutical and clinical microbiology. He is an author of ‘Cleanroom Microbiology’ book published from PDA/DHI publishers, USA . He has immense knowledge on the Pharmaceutical microbiology Quality control tests such as Sterility test, Endotoxin test, Environmental analysis, Water analysis and Disinfectant analysis. Well experience in Microbiological Validations and diagnostic PCR methods. Hands on experience with highly sophisticated microbiology instruments and a self-starter, team worker and having experience in associating with various pioneer research groups worldwide. Excellent communication skills and meritorious publications in international journals and presentations at national level conferences.
