People Lead & Design LeadApply Digital Feb 2024 - May 2024Vancouver, Bc, CaI worked on the on the Kraft Heinz account as a people lead and design lead overseeing the platform team. Helping them build a new design system that could go from a single brand to a white labeled experience across hundreds of brands both locally and internationally. This was a large discovery process, doing an assessment of their multiple design systems, internal and external teams to lay out a foundation for a single system that could be used by all brands in all countries. The use of Design Tokens through Token Studio and FIgma helped with building out this solution. A close relationship with technology to find a seamless way to integrate the design tokens from the Figma side into their use of Tailwind and Contentful. The build out of the Primitive, Semantic and Branded tokens was done by myself as well as all project roadmaps, epics and discovery work. On top of this I oversaw the design team's day to day work from within the platform team as well as helped build out a design operations process that currently didn't exist with the project managers. This lead to a better sense of resources and utilization to capitalize on the efficiency and output of the team. -
