Extensive experience in Design, Construction, Breakdown and Maintenance of the Electrical Utilities Network within Ausgrid's area. Having worked in the field since 1994, I have worked from the field through to the office.My organisational skills, drive, persistence, passion for seeing my work successfully completed and eye for detail assist me to take pride in delivering both complex and high profile projects on time and on budget. I enjoy the challenge of dealing with and building relationships with people at all levels of the project, members of the public and other authorities in order to deliver works.Whilst having the necessary technical skills is important, as my experience with managing people grows (and learning from my errors along the way), I am finding I'm increasingly interested in understanding emotional intelligence and leadership styles. Such skills have assisted me greatly and are skills I will continue to develop and research. Projects I am particularly proud to have been apart of are the Camperdown 5kV to 11kV Conversion works, ASP3 Chamber Substation Designs, and most recently the East Region Incident Manager for the April 2015 and the June 2016 Storms where the electrical network suffered tremendous outages over a number of days. All these projects involved complex strategies, resource, logistical planning, in addition to the fundamental need to be able to talk to people at all levels. I am very adept at rising to these challenges, particularly unplanned situations requiring resolution.I also a keen cyclist and triathlete, and have competed in many long and short distance events.
