With over 12 years of research experience in polymer processing and characterization, I am a Senior Scientist at Cardinal Glass Industries, a leading manufacturer of high-performance glass products for architectural and residential applications. My mission is to develop innovative materials and processes for energy-saving and privacy windows, using my expertise in sol-gel chemistry, polymeric ink formulation, nanomaterials fabrication, and optical device design.As part of the Research and Development team, I contribute to the invention, optimization, and scale-up of transparent porous materials, waterborne colloidal particles, polymeric elastomers, and elastomeric optical devices, with controlled properties and performance. I use various manufacturing techniques, such as solution casting, roll-to-roll coating, and spin coating, as well as advanced materials characterization tools, such as 2D-XRD, SAXS, FTIR, TGA, DSC, CD, Optical Birefringence, BET, UV-Vis, Polymer Rheology, and mechanical testing. I also have extensive experience in electrochemical analysis, sol-gel formulation, polymer synthesis, and surface functionalization. I am proficient in data analysis, project management, documentation, and technical report writing, and I have multiple patents and publications in the field of materials science and engineering. I am passionate about creating sustainable and smart solutions for the glass industry and beyond.
