I'm an eternal student of the creative arts.I'm mostly self-taught, but always find the path to be in the best environments, surrounded by the best people in their craft. On my journey I've found mentors, peers and contemporaries, all of whom have imparted knowledge and kinship in their respective arts.For almost 30 years, I've been a multi-disciplined artist:• producing, publishing and exhibiting portraits, illustrations, murals, graphic designs and marketing material.• producing, performing and recording music for TV, film and live events.• studied and taught the dances B-Boying, Boogaloo/Popping and Locking throughout NZ, Australia, Japan and USA.• performed in front of thousands, showing at concerts, music videos, televised events and live events.• produced sound design and synthesizer programming tutorials on a successful YouTube/Patreon format.• and most recently, produced prosthetics, creature suits, animatronics, electronic and lighting effects at Wētā Workshop for many world-class projects.This long and varied multi-disciplinary creative journey sits within my life-long project called 'madFame' - Music | Art | Dance.Through my artistic endeavours I have had the privilege of being invited as a speaker at many local government events, youth events, schools, and performing arts studios internationally.I've proudly spoken as a representative of the arts I study and always strive to instil vision, motivation and belief in those that choose to commit themselves to learning.
