• During this position, I conducted research on murine dendritic cell subset development and function (including Langerhans cells) in viral infections, cancer models, and inflammation of the skin and intestines. I.
• Initiated solo research on dendritic cell development and function that led to published work in respected journals like PNAS.
• Led an independent research group, guiding a PhD student to successful graduation in a project investigating the physiological role of ADAM10 and ADAM17 in myeloid cells in the skin and gastrointestinal tract.
• Achieved funding €650K+ for essential research projects.
• Displayed competency in budget supervision, ensuring optimal distribution for research endeavours.
• Trained a research technician and four undergraduate learners by fostering skill development in team.

T-Cell Vaccine Unit: Combination Therapy

• In this role, I developed and implemented in vitro assays to assess the efficacy of RNA-based cytokine fusion proteins in altering cytotoxic T cell responses. Also, analysed these constructs in murine cancer models for.
