Delivered database features and cloud scale application development enhancements to customers in a fast paced manner. Worked closely with users to get feedback and iterate and improve the product on both usability and performance aspects. Worked on roadmaps, mentoring the team and hiring top talent into the team.

Built the engineering and support team from ground up to deliver 1.0 and subsequent generations of products for scalable object based storage solution with cloud based management. Attributes of the solution include distributed systems protocols, consensus protocol, failure domains, data durability and strong consistency with self service management and cloud connectivity for flash and magnetic storage. Products gained successful traction in the field both in terms of number of customers and field deployments enabling to raise 3 rounds of funding and subsequent acquisition.

Led various aspects of Data Deduplication product including core de-duplication, performance, and entire systems stack from pre-IPO to acquisition stage. Grew the team to 100 person group including Chief Architect, Directors and Managers. Started China Development Center and helped grow the center to be integral to delivering products and releases.

- Led a 120 member cross geographic team, growing from a small team, to deliver file system products for mission critical enterprise customer workloads. Products released included Cluster File System, Tiered storage system, products on Windows, Linux and other operating systems. Implemented several quality and process initiatives.- Led the emerging products group, identified product ideas to invest through brainstorming with architects, reaching out to customers and to partners in the industry. Seeded teams and led development of these ideas into products.
