• To complete detailed fault diagnostics (including remote diagnostics) utilising appropriate technical diagnostic tools. • Utilise safety management & procedures including creating and amending RAMS documentation with 100% accuracy.• Investigate and fix faults with antenna systems, fibre optic links and radomes.• Assemble and install communications infrastructure- masts and fibre optics.• Work at heights in excess of 100 metres on support structures such as masts and towers. Assist with the erection of communications masts and systems, radome installation structures or install and repair fibre optic and data communications cables in a secure operations room.• Skilled in using fibre optic equipment including Fusion Splicers, Mechanical Splicers, Cleavers, OTDR's and with applying a variety of connectors.• Trained in copper (CAT 5, 5e, 6, 6a) networking/terminating, cable planning. I also train and educate colleagues in my subject matters due to my abilities to deliver training material to a high standard.• Trained to the highest standard in the use of various types of climbing, safety and rescue equipment, as well as fall arrest systems and other personal protective equipment.
