I liaise with overseas publishers, literary agents and scouts, assisting the rights team as they find readers and homes for Allen & Unwin’s children titles, both fiction and non-fiction. My role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, confidence in handling finances and budgets, an ability to work independently, and the ability to handle multiple projects at a time.

I worked with the submissions editor at Pantera Press to find the next best Australian novel. In addition, I assisted the publicity team with mail-outs and social media research, completed administrative tasks and gained an in-depth understanding of small presses in the publishing landscape.

I developed the publishing department of Western Grammar School in its foundational years. In this role, I edited, designed and produced the annual yearbook, the bi-monthly newsletters and all other publishing material. In addition, I was a key member in setting up the school's website.I first joined WGS in an administrative position, and thus have experience liaising with interested parties, handling multiple projects and working with accounts.
