Promoted to Lifting Team Lead during my time here as a CPLO. Duties were same as below but with the added responsibility of leading 3 x CPLO's that were on the same rotation as myself, all associated internal admin (my teams travel, medical appointments, visa arrangements). Also being the interface for lifting operations between Company, Contractor and Sub-Contractor, rasing lifting related problems to higher level, and also answering lifting related questions brought to me by Company, Contractor and Sub-Contractor.

Supervising client lifting operations.Conducting oversights of Subcontractor lifting operations to ensure safe project delivery.Playing a key role in Contractor and Subcontractor Toolbox Talks and monthly safety meetings.Utilising ‘stop work authority’ where appropriate, observing Contractor and Subcontractor lifting operations and reviewing Contractor and Subcontractor ‘Control of Work’ packages.Checking that lifting operation activities are being performed in accordance with Company and Contractor processes and procedures.

Ineos Fps Unity

Phase 1 of this project was the safe Install of 3 x Runway Beams and 2 x 50te Ingersoll Rand BOP Handling System Air Hoists in preparation for the Forties Pipeline Shutdown and Unity Platform valve replacements.Ensured that standards were aligned with the requirements current legislation.

Led/Supervised Riggers on the Hookup Phase of the brand-new Total Gas Platform in the Central North Sea..

Involved in all aspects of rigging and lifting on the refit of Transocean's Sedco 704 drilling platform.. Lifting a variety of objects from spools, valves, plate, pumps, containers, staircases, scaffolding.

As appointed person I was involved in the planning of lifting operations, from scale drawings to writing method statements in the construction of various oil and gas storage tanks within oil refineries and power stations. As a Rigger I was involved in the lifting operations involved in said construction, mainly laying floor plate, hanging rolled horizontal shell plate, roof beams, fitting valves, pipework and other associated steelwork.

Involved in all aspects of lifting operations in the construction of 4 x 32m Diameter X 20m High domed roof fuel oil/bitumen storage tanks on a BP Greenfield site.
