Entrusted to be Deputy Director General responsible for leading all the activities including designing, planning, execution, monitoring and finalization of results of the 7th Population & Housing Census, the first Digital Census of Pakistan. Design and implementation of Pakistan Social & Living Standards Measurement Survey (PSLM) and Household Integrated Economic Survey (HIES).Key accomplishments-Successfully lead all the planning, management, and execution of PKR XX billion (US$ 130 million) 7th Population & Housing digital census, the 1st digital census of Pakistan.-Successful design and implementation of pilot census 2022 for 7th Population & Housing Census-Finalization of questionnaires, training material & schedules, procurement, and establishment of census units nationwide.-Procurement and stakeholder management for procuring 126,000 tablets, census software, data infrastructure, storage & computing, high-resolution imagery etc.-Gap identification and questionnaire alignment for monitoring SDGs alignment for PSLM

Key accomplishments-Designed, executed and finalized the special survey for evaluating the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 on the population.-Completed all activities of PSLM project in 2015 successfully, Finalized results of HIES 2013-14 and PSLM 2014-15.- Designed and implemented Household Integrated Income & Consumption Survey 2015-16 for rebasing price statistics. - Designed questionnaire, imparted trainings, executed the operations in the field with the team, and prepared the results within six months of the completion of the survey.-Designed, executed and finalized the Field operations and results of HIES 2018-19 survey -Successfully designed and completed the first ever tablet based collection of PSLM 2019-20 district level survey and finalized& published its results in May 2021.-As member of the Poverty Estimation Committee, finalized Consumption -based Poverty estimates for the year 2018-19 at National Level and Multidimensional Poverty estimates for year 2019-20 at district level -As Director Sample Design, finalized sample design of First ever Child Labour Survey conducted ntionwide-Responsible for designing Sample design and estimation of sample size for long form for Census.-Coordinated with provincial and national government and international development partners for International commitments such as; MDGs and SDGs and amended the PSLM/ HIES questionnaire for monitoring of SDGs with identification of gaps.

-Established the Data Dissemination& Support Services Section (DD&SS)-Prepared the first draft of Data Dissemination & Support Services policy of PBS,-Responsible for provision of data in user friendly formats and provision of support services (Sample design, maps and other allied services) for conducting nationwide surveys by the national and international organizations

-Worked vociferously for the approval of the results of census 2017 and presented the case in front of forums including Cabinet Committee of Ministers constituted by Federal Cabinet regarding approval of final results of census 2017. Eventually successfully acquired approval of results by the council of Common Interests (CCI). -Lead the activities for designing & planning of the 7th population & Housing Census and worked as team member for preparation of report of recommendations for conduct of 7th Population& Housing Census devised by Census Advisory Committee (comprising of renowned experts & demographers) which was approved by Government and CCI for conduct of 7th Population & Housing Census.-As a key team member presented the recommendations for conduct of 7th population & housing census to all stakeholders i.e. Provinces, academia, researchers and policy makers for confidence building and ownership of the process.-Preparation of summaries for CCI, Briefs and Minutes of the meetings of Cabinet Committee of Ministers and Census Advisory Committee.

Key accomplishments-Imparted trainings to field and headquarters staff for data collection and editing, respectively.-Monitoring of field operations of PSLM surveys.-Supervise the entire data entry process in collaboration with Data Processing Centre of PBS.-Analysis of the PSLM/HIES data for developing statistical tables and report writing.. I have also carried in-depth analysis on the data set for Poverty and trend analysis of various indicators using HIES data. This analysis is carried out in SPSS/STATA software’s.-Besides this handled the administrative and financial matters of the PSLM project.-During my working in PBS I have developed special skills in the analysis of data relates to Education, Reproductive Health, Maternity, Pregnancy History, Pre and Post natal care, Family Planning and Immunization and Income& Expenditure. For this purpose, I have attended several national & International seminars/workshops.-I have also obtained trainings in the analysis of Poverty data and I have developed programs for the analysis of Poverty data in Pakistan

Key accomplishments-Worked as one of the key members of the Pakistan Integrated Household Surveys (PIHS)/PSLM Surveys team.-Contributed in finalizing the questionnaires and manual of instructions.-Participated as one of the Trainers to impart training to the field staff.-Responsible for analysing the micro data for working out Total Fertility Rate (TFR), Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (CPR), Gross/Net Enrolment Rates (GER/NER), etc.
