Performs individual and group therapeutic services to assist in meeting social-emotional and academic needs, as required by student's IEP's. Implements interventions that are directed towards IEP goals and that focus on the underlying issues of problematic behaviors.

• Perform individual and group therapy using an integrative approach primarily consisting of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Meditation. • Implement interventions that are directed towards IEP goals and that focus on the underlying issues of problematic behaviors. • Systematically track data of IEP goals and interventions, and present data at weekly data meetings among staff. • Evaluate students’ eligibility for emotional or behavioral disorder classification with the Behavior Assessment System for Children Second Edition (BASC-2), Structured Developmental History (SDH), and a thorough psychosocial history. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, guardians, and outside therapists or psychiatrists to holistically address the students’ needs.

Conducted interviews that captured senior citizen’s life story and history living in poverty. Created detailed biographies that included the senior’s entire life stories, that were sent out in newsletter to donors of the organization. Presented the sites purpose and mission in a networking event at Adler University, to help create awareness to their organization.

Trained research assistants to run experimental sessions in anxiety and depression research. Directed experimental sessions in a research lab that induced emotions in individuals with depression and anxiety. Helped create research experiments in collaboration with doctoral students and research assistants. Entered data into SPSS that allowed the examination of data and results using different statistical measures.

Mentored girls ages 5-12 and worked closely alongside CPS personnel in a school-based intervention. Examined the impact of mentoring on academic performance and attendance of at-risk youth, and reported findings in a Capstone research paper. Performed a data analysis on SPSS to analyze the effectiveness of the school-based intervention.

Directed research experiments that implicitly measured the impact of stereotype threat on different academic tasks. Collaborated with a team of research assistants to develop and design new experiments. Entered data that were collected during the process of the research experiments, and conducted experimental sessions in the research lab.
