ATAS is founded as a refinery in 1962. In 2004, it is converted to storage terminal with 66 storage tanks and 570,000 cubic meter storage capacity. ATAS is JV of BP, SHELL and TURCAS, operated by BP as biggest shareholder. Ship loading and unloading, railcar loading and unloading, road tanker loading and unloading operations are made. ATAS is 2nd largest BP operating terminal in Europe.Manage operation activities safely, efficiently and competently. Supervise operation teams to fulfill the operation in safety standard. Manage operation team; (1 operation coordinator, 1 wharf coordinator, 4 shift supervisor, 5 control operator, 8 wharf operator, 5 crude unloading operator, 12 rail vagon loading/unloading and truck loading operator, 8 tankfarm oilmovement operator. Total Ataş operation 44 people and 70 cuntractor personnel. General total 114 personnel works in Operation.
