Started carrier within aviation industry. Worked several years within domestic airline of Nepal from planning officer to General Manager. The work activities included all levels of operations and strategy making within airline industry. The majority of work post 2004 involved strategic planning and decision making. After working 15 years within Aviation Industry, I worked several years in the manufacturing industry as head of operations making strategic decisions. During the period, the major activities was to set up a production factory with a work force of 500 people as well as manage the operations as head. After 5 years of manufacturing experience, I have reverted back to aviation industry full time as Regional Director, Asia Pacific, for an European EASA approved organization, DAO Aviation A/S. I have been playing key role in managing Asia operations since many years for DAO.Beside the professional work in managerial role, I have been actively involved in teaching and research works. I am an independent educator within management faculty involved in teaching graduate students for two decades. I have good experience both in service industry as well as manufacturing industry added with the academic teaching and research work. I find myself a clear decision maker who can work under pressure in the varying work environment and from small to a large workforce.
