CurrentStrengthen capacities of LGA personnel/nutrition team on planning, financing and management of nutrition interventions. Planning-Support preparation of budgets for programme implementation with LGA counterpart and in line with LGA per diem, expense, etc. policy for consistency and coherence purposes-Support and coach LGA counterpart on training needs analysis in relation to planned programme activities-Train and coach LGA counterparts on supportive supervision such as coaching, mentoring and feedback mechanism as part of the technique-Ensure that as part of the supportive supervision planning, visits are conducted by LGAs to health facilities and communities, with involvement of health facility staff when visiting communities. -Train and coach LGA counterpart/team on planning of supplies, in relation to CMAM, IYCF materials and MNCHWs. -Work closely with LGA counterpart and M & E TA on implementation of M&E plan-Strengthen reporting capacity of LGA counterpart in terms of quality of report as well as submission and feedback to state and health facilities- With the support of thematic TAs strengthen technical and advocacy capacity at LGA level-Support LGA counterpart to provide mentoring to implementing facilities and communities - Facilitate processes to strengthen linkages between LGA/State and LGA/health facilities/communities as well as overall coordination of activities at LGA level.- Ensure timely reporting, adherence to programme strategy and coordination within programme and with authorities at the LGA level- Provide technical assistance/advice to other SCUK programmes as directed by the line manager.
