About Rabka G.
I am a recent Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from Chapman University School of Pharmacy. I have experience in a variety of pharmacy practices such as community, hospital, and specialty. Currently, I work as a Pharmacist at County of San Diego which specializes in psychiatric medications catering to adult and pediatric patients. I am interested in hospital pharmacy to be optimizing direct patient care with an interprofessional team and am seeking exciting opportunities in this field. Over the course of pharmacy school, I have been actively involved in CSHP/ASHP-SSHP as Director of Professional Development, in which I led numerous community service projects. Along with helping the surrounding communities, I was also a part of Student Ambassadors at Chapman, where I led campus tours and spoke on student panels to prospective pharmacy students. I am a part of a capstone project that conducts research in Sequencing Proteins of Althaea Officinalis to test antimicrobial and anticancerous properties. With Chapman's CSHP/ASHP-SSHP chapter I advocate for the use of Naloxone and accessibility through pharmacists. For my outstanding academic and leadership achievements, I have been lucky enough to receive the Mylan Excellence in Pharmacy Award by the dean and faculty of Chapman.
