My goals was to take an everyday item that people interact with on a daily basis and turn it into a functional piece of art.My responsibilities included:- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN - Proof of concept, product design, and research and development.- MANUFACTURING - Sourcing vendor, sourcing material, ordering sample products and inventory.- BRANDING & DESIGN - Brand standards, logo design, website design and build, newsletter design and distribution, customer email journey strategy and distribution, packaging design, and collateral material.- CREATIVE / STORY DEVELOPMENT - Concept, storyboards, shot list.- PRODUCTION - Directing, cinematography, and lighting.- POST-PRODUCTION - Sourcing music, editing, and color correction.- PHOTOGRAPHY - Lifestyle and product images used for branding, social media, and website.- PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Oversaw the production end of the project to ensure the visual content would be delivered on time and within budget.- COMPANY MANAGEMENT - Customer service, communications, and administrative tasks.- DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION - Social media management, Facebook and Pinterest ad spend.- PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION - Amazon FBA, ETSY dropshipping, and self-fulfillment through website sales.

I am one of the Co-Founders, Director of Photography, and Co-Producer with Outlive. Alongside my wife, I am responsible for helping to develop the vision, goals, and strategies of the company, as well as providing creative direction for all photo and video projects. I co-manage and direct all aspects of the production process, from pre-production to post-production.My responsibilities and qualifications include:- Camera in hand since 1996. Professionally since 2011.- Develop and execute the company's overall strategy, including sales, marketing, and production.- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.- Experience in video production and business management.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.- Collaborate with the director to develop the visual style for the film or video production.- Select and manage camera, lighting, and grip crew.- Set up and adjust lighting to achieve the desired look and mood for each scene.- Work with the camera operator to create compelling and aesthetically pleasing shots.- Ensure that all footage is properly exposed, in focus, and color balanced.- Strong technical knowledge of camera equipment, lenses, and lighting techniques.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the director and crew.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Creative eye for detail and composition.
