I have over 10 years of experience working within the community services sector in the UK and in Australia. My knowledge is composed from previous employment within elderly care, disability care, foster care, out of home care and youth homeless services. My most current roles have included working with children and young adolescent teens aged 12 - 21 within theraputic residential homes and specialised homeless refuges. In these employment spaces I have developed the skills to support young people displaying high-risk challenging behaviours and complex needs which includes childhood trauma, emotional distress, mental health concerns, AOD, sexual health, long term housing and family restoration.
