During the summer of 2017 I was a research assistant for Dr. Brenda Russell. Dr. Russell's scholarly and teaching interests include psychology and law, perceptions of victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, homicide defendants, and the social psychological and cognitive aspects of jury decision making. I was responsible for data collection and analysis for perpetrators of domestic violence. The data collected was used for a poster that Dr. Russell, myself and another student co-created. Dinger, R. Reinger N. Russell, B. (2018, April) Police Perceptions in Intimate Partner Violence Cases: The Influence of Gender and Sexual Orientation. Poster Presented at the Midwestern Psychological Association Conference. In addition, my duties were: literate reviews; expanded abstracts; data entry; data analysis; find scholarly sources.
