As a promotion from the position of MVS, the store manager is responsible for the oversight of everything within the store. I manage the performance of the sales associates, technicians, CEMTS, and MVS in order to ensure proper work flow and profitability of the store. I am also the last line of defense for all customer complaints and must continue to maintain the highest sales, customer service scores and CFNA applications in the building. I review the monthly P and L statements, expense analysis and other EOM reports to ensure profitability and look for ways to improve. I am responsible for the hiring, coaching and development of all associates within the building and must continually develop new associates to promote up within the company, I am responsible for the continued growth of my store and gaining customer loyalty and new retail and well as fleet clients daily.

Duties include; leading the stores organization by ensuring the execution of daily store operations in a high volume store. Direct supervision of the; Petcare, Grooming, Salon, Pet Training, Consumables and Hard Goods departments, consisting of forty store associates. Supervision of stores payroll, and execution of associate scheduling. Assisting Store Manager in achieving sales, stores shortage and safety goals. Hiring, coaching and development of store associates and direct report managers. Creating and maintaining a culture of exceptional guest services.

Duties include; Supervision of the Design, Print and Ship Center. Driving accountability with store associates and the management team to ensure that all sales and team goals are achieved. The training of associates on design center and front end procedures. Copying, printing, scanning and editing of customer documents and photos. Utilizing custom and customer requested design and programs for the creation of event specific documents. The maintenance of all store and design center equipment. Through Manager-on-Duty functions, acting as store manager and the daily opening and closing of the store.

Duties include; Supervision of store front end business operations and customer experience. The balancing of store cash registers and ensuring that registers have sufficient funds available to complete daily business transactions. Driving accountability with store associates and management team to ensure that all sales and team goals are met. Assisting customers with; product issues, rebate questions, returns or exchanges. Training associates on correct front end procedures. Ensuring all reduced price product is sold within corporate timing guidelines. Support and leadership to other store departments when assistance is required.
