Use communications goals and knowledge of technical and lay audiences to determine appropriate outreach venues.Support the communication goals and objectives of WMA and WCB management, scientists, and technologists, as well as support for the WMA programs, USGS, and the Department of the Interior (DOI).Follow the policies and protocols established by DOI, USGS, and WMA and work closely with WCB communications team to conduct all aspects of the writing, editing, review, and approval process for outreach products using multiple traditional and emerging communications channels.Plan and execute communications campaigns through the Water Mission Area website and social media channelsOutreach evaluation and strategic planning:Evaluate the effectiveness of WMA communication efforts in close coordination with WCB and WMA managers.Use evidence gathered during evaluation to recommend improvements to established website and social media communications practices and forward-looking strategic communications plans that focus on WCB, WMA, and USGS priorities.
