● Assist in research reports based in weight and fluid fill studies by gathering data on companyproduct and raw materials● Operate spectrophotometer, distillation units, centrifuge and pH meter● Retrieve microbiological surface, air and finger-plate samples● Perform routine qualitative, quantitative and physical testing on Kraft products including but notlimited to: Acid, moisture, fat, salt, pH, raw material analysis, density, and viscosity● Assist in calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and laboratory equipment● Maintain Lab records by logging samples and test results in accordance with routine data entry

● Assist UIUC Students with Education-based Laboratory Procedures● Assist in Laboratory techniques such as but not limited to: Gel Loading, Streak Plating, proper use of TLC plates and Rotary Evaporators, simple & fractional distillation, gravity & vacuum filtration, and micropipeting in assay procedures● Audit Laboratory for proper safety methods● Prepare student laboratory solutions and reagents necessary for experimentation● Monitor and service laboratory equipment● Ensure proper chemical waste disposal● Maintain chemical inventory
