Responsible for running Teach First's Access programme - Futures. Futures aims to support young people from under represented backgrounds achieve places at the most selective universities.I am responsible for setting the strategy of Futures and ensuring the programme is ready for delivery across 9 regions in England. This year, we will be working with 900 pupils and 450 volunteer mentors.In 2017, 84% of pupils progressed to university, of which 47% progressed to the most selective institutions.

Responsible for the delivery of the Futures Easter Schools, attended by 670 pupils across 5 different residential events at Oxford and Cambridge universities.I am responsible for managing the full event delivery, including recruitment of pupils and staff, venue procurement, programme design and recruitment of all facilitation staff and guests, safeguarding and welfare, and training of the event delivery teams.I am also responsible for the delivery of the Oxbridge Support Programme. We inspire pupils from the Futures programme and Teach First schools to apply to two of the most selective universities in the world, and provide support with their application . Our aim is identify and implement strategies that will help narrow the gap in current progression to these universities. I work closely with the universities and Teach First volunteers to give pupils the tools and experience to expertly navigate the application and interview process. In 2017, 9 pupils progressed to Oxford or Cambridge from our Oxbridge Support Programme.

Project management of multiple projects aligned to England Hockey Board's strategic objectives.Responsible for the delivery of 2010 and 2011 UK School Games and 2012 School Games.Management of multiple additional projects crossing Development, Commercial and Performance departments of a sports National Governing Body.Projects include implementing the national roll out of adult participation programmes within Higher Education, event management of national hockey events, design and management of two IT systems used for CRM and comms purposes.

Managed relationships with local stakeholders across both voluntary and professional sectors to enhance participant experience and increase participation of both young people and adults.Oversaw the implementation of Hockey's Single System within the Yorkshire and Humberside region.Responsible for club development, including working with clubs to achieve Clubmark accreditation and form School - Club links.
