I'm Rachael Main, and I'm not your typical UX/UI designer. My journey began with a BSc Honours in City Planning, and for years, I immersed myself in the world of urban environments and city design. However, about two year's ago, I stumbled upon a newfound passion that changed the course of my career - UX/UI design.My transition from city planning to UX/UI design might seem unexpected, but it has been an incredible journey. My city planning background armed me with a deep understanding of human behavior, spatial design, and the importance of creating environments that cater to people's needs.Now, as a UX/UI designer, I draw upon my research skills, data analysis acumen, and project management experience from my city planning days. I believe that the principles underpinning the design of accessible and inclusive cities can seamlessly translate into crafting digital interfaces that prioritize usability and user satisfaction.My commitment to lifelong learning drives me to improve the human experience through design. I'm passionate about bridging the gap between the physical and digital realms, with a focus on creating digital interfaces that not only look great but also work seamlessly and resonate emotionally with users.
