Clients include: The World Bank, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC Knowledge, Animal Planet, UNICEF, OXFAM, Greenpeace, S.A.F.E, Redbull, Nitro circus, Jaguar, Sony, BMW and The Project TV3.In the last three years alone, I've produced and directed over one hundred non-fiction stories for The Project, TV3, a primetime current affairs show on New Zealand's largest privately owned television channel. While heading the Long Form department, I was nominated for two Voyager Media Awards for Best Current Affairs Story and secured major ongoing sponsorship from Dell by producing/directing the successful flagship series, Change Makers.As Head of Long-form, I enjoyed crafting human driven stories that promoted people in our community who are doing amazing things. Over the two years prior, I earned 25 directors’ credits for half-hour documentaries aired on broadcast TV, alongside a host of camera, editing, and producing roles. Working on such a variety of subjects and with so many diverse people I've gained a deep understanding of the world and the fascinating people who live in it.Results-oriented, with a successful background in strategic content development and delivering media projects within challenging deadlines, complex requirements and strict budgets. A creative thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt easily to changing or unpredictable environments. I hold a Postgrad in Science Communication and Natural History Film Making.

The stories produced by my department focused on current affairs and topical issues told through a personal journey. In this role I personally produced and directed over one hundred stories which aired to a broad New Zealand broadcast audience of close to 200,000, frequently achieving the highest rating above all other show content.This role included pitching, interviewing, field directing, script writing, post production directing and preparing the shows hosts with relevant talking topics. Achievements:By successfully heading The Projects flagship Change Maker Series, Dell re-signed as a major show sponsor for the duration of 2020 and increased their sponsorship commitment to the programme throughout 2021. Each story in the series had profound social impact, audience reach, and successfully met Dell's brand strengthening objectives to align itself with community heroes.Nominated for two Voyager Media awards 2020.

Key Responsibilities Research, develop and produce a video series in line with the World Bank brand, to highlight the need for an intervention to reduce the high cost of electricity in the Solomon Islands. Led a team to produce five 3-5-minute social media-friendly videos and relevant photo essays for the company’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube platforms to enhance supporter engagement as well as for use by project partners and stakeholders, including the Australian Government, ADB, Green Climate Fund, and IRENA.Led a team to produce a 15-20-minute documentary promoting investment in low cost renewable electricity in Solomon Islands, for use in information sessions with CSOs, government, private sector and schools.The project:The Solomon Islands, in the heart of the Pacific, relies on expensive imported fuel for nearly 100% of its electricity. It has some of the highest energy costs in the world, and one of the lowest rates of connection in the world; just 9% of Solomon Islanders are connected to the electricity grid. This is a video series looking at Solomon Islands' near-total reliance on diesel fuel for electricity.

Organized and executed content gathering across remote communities in Vanuatu, Fiji and Tonga. Adapted well to unforeseen circumstances and reprioritised filming schedules to mitigate delays.Project: World Bank Pacific Connectivity Project. A massive fibre-optic cable will be installed hundreds of kilometres underwater to connect Tonga, one of the world’s most remote countries, to high-speed internet. The Project will meet Tonga’s immediate demand for connectivity, and facilitate communications, trade and services with the wider Pacific region, and the globe. In future, as more countries connect, benefits will resound into the region, connecting Pacific Islanders with local, regional and global opportunities.
