A multi-award winning director, field producer, cinematographer and editor with a proven record spanning over 15 years of creative, innovative and ambitious visual storytelling. Clients include: The World Bank, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC Knowledge, Animal Planet, UNICEF, OXFAM, Greenpeace, S.A.F.E, Redbull, Nitro circus, Jaguar, Sony, BMW and The Project TV3.In the last three years alone, I've produced and directed over one hundred non-fiction stories for The Project, TV3, a primetime current affairs show on New Zealand's largest privately owned television channel. While heading the Long Form department, I was nominated for two Voyager Media Awards for Best Current Affairs Story and secured major ongoing sponsorship from Dell by producing/directing the successful flagship series, Change Makers.As Head of Long-form, I enjoyed crafting human driven stories that promoted people in our community who are doing amazing things. Over the two years prior, I earned 25 directors’ credits for half-hour documentaries aired on broadcast TV, alongside a host of camera, editing, and producing roles. Working on such a variety of subjects and with so many diverse people I've gained a deep understanding of the world and the fascinating people who live in it.Results-oriented, with a successful background in strategic content development and delivering media projects within challenging deadlines, complex requirements and strict budgets. A creative thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt easily to changing or unpredictable environments. I hold a Postgrad in Science Communication and Natural History Film Making.
