I help create products that spread the word about the top tier scientific research being done at IBHS in an effort to translate the research into the actions that will prevent avoidable suffering, strengthen homes and businesses, inform the insurance industry, and support thriving communities. The research concerns four perils: hail, wind, wind-driven rain, and wildfires.

-Responsible for the management of three weather team members-Vet and interview potential new weather team hires -Analyze numerical weather prediction models to create a weather forecast-Create weather graphics for public consumption using WSI program-Conduct interviews with subjects for on-air use-Write scripts for on-air and online television news stories-Shoot and edit news stories for on-air and online-Visit with students at local schools and community youth organizations to talk about meteorology-Write, produce, and anchor special extended programming for on-air use-Capture drone video for on-air use

-Weekend evening meteorologist, with frequent fill in on morning and evening shows -Dayside reporter three days per week, turning one or more live packages a day-Extensive use of Max Reality
