Purple Mermaid Studios is a small company that I run, in which I make and sell custom mermaid tails. I run all aspects of the business, from communicating directly to customers and running social media pages, to managing finances, to creating the products! In the years since I have started Purple Mermaid Studios, I have grown from having a sale every few months, to having at least one a week on average, if not more!

For my internship at GVSU, I have become a blog intern for Dreaming Big Publications. Their company website has a blog in which many types of content is published. On a weekly basis I will edit pieces submitted by other interns, as well as write and submit my own content.

Ridge Park Charter Academy

I have just recently started working as an assistant teacher for the YMCA, but so far I typically work with another teacher to care for 10-15 students from 3pm-6pm after school. We offer them a meal as these kids don't typically get to eat much at home, and help them with homework, as well as doing activites that help them with their studies. I look forward to working futher with the YMCA!
