• The sole manager of United Postal Service (UPS) East London’s parcel collection and drop off points. Analysing, recruiting, training and managing UPS Access Points.
• Identifying suitable stores based on my devised profitability criteria;
• Selling the fledgling concept to store owners – consistently meeting monthly targets;
• Recruited and trained 54 UPS Access Points which are now operational and receiving parcels;

• One of three Deputy Venue Logistics Managers on the Olympic Park’s Common Domain. A 2.5km2 live venue which surrounds the 9 major competition venues, 11 sponsor showcase areas, and includes 273 temporary buildings for.
• Managed a crew of 26 at its peak during the Olympic Opening Ceremony;
• Coordinating work assignments, setting project goals, evaluating employee performance, and determining training requirements;
• Liaising with the various sponsor showcase stalls ensuring they receive their deliveries on time;
• Providing support to the logistics operations on the 9 competition venues on the Olympic Park.

• A 3 month placement with ‘Para Los Ninos’, a Bolivian Non-Governmental Organisation, which supports the development of children within 12 orphanages
• I worked within 3 of the centres on projects encouraging the children’s creativity, confidence and self-esteem.
• Planned, organised and implemented music, science, craft and cooking classes. Also organised and implemented 4 excursions for the children and staff at the centres.
