I am the founder of The Analytical Moose, a company that creates innovative solutions for wildfire awareness and prevention. With over 15 years of experience in geospatial information and data analysis, I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to address real world problems and make a positive impact on people and the environment. In 2022, I created a mobile application called Wildfire Aware to provide the public with timely, accurate and authoritative information about wildfires in the areas they care about.As a certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), a certified Geographic Profiling Analyst (GPA), and a Master of Professional Studies in Geographic Information Technology, I have a strong background in GIS software, data analysis, and analytical skills. I have worked with various organizations, including the State of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the University of California, Los Angeles, to provide valuable insights and support for wildfire management and research. I am also the creator of the Wildfire Aware app, a tool that helps users stay informed and prepared for wildfire risks and events. My mission is to leverage GIS and data analysis to create effective and user-friendly solutions for wildfire mitigation and resilience.

Produces a daily report of available resources and personnel in the unit available for dispatch. Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly Crystal Reports for dissemination, reporting, and analysis. Updates the daily weather observations utilizing the WIMS (Weather Information Management System) and pulls current NFDRS (National Fire Danger Rating System) outputs to set dispatch levels during fire season. Requests, dispatches, and tracks aircraft according to national protocols and department policy and procedures, utilizing Automated Flight Following (AFF) program and the Statewide Intercom System. Was the primary CAD administrator for the Shasta Trinity Unit and Shasta County fire. Maintained and updated multiple GIS layers directly and indirectly connected to CAD system. Compiled statistical data from CAD and GIS analysis. Coordinated the collection and dissemination of vital CAD and GIS data throughout the county. Provided QA and QC to all data sets. Presented GIS solutions to small groups and one-on-one sessions about possible GIS solutions to problems.
