As a small child I never even knew the term public relations, let alone planned on going into the field of it. However, plans change, after all, I have given up on the dream of being a princess. I may not have years of experience behind me, but no one does when they start, that is why it is called a beginning. I am keen to gain this experience, though, especially in the area of sports. I was a college athlete and the expected standard for a public image to be upheld at that level was astounding to me. I can only imagine what the professional athletes must do to maintain their reputations. It in this area that I wish to find an internship and eventually make a career as a PR agent.
