While at the Chaddick Institute, I ran the day to day operations as well as planning of programs and events. I assembled a panel of experts to speak on senior housing issues in suburban downtowns, and planned study trips to cities such as Madison, WI and Grand Rapids, MI to meet with city planners and tour innovative structures. I managed the brand presence of the institute and ensure that all of the materials we produced were well designed.

FLOR is small Chicago based company that makes eco-friendly module carpet systems. I worked with a team of copywriters, designers and merchandisers to visually communicate the brand’s ethos through seasonal catalogs and direct mail pieces.

McGarrah Jessee is a full service advertising agency, working with clients such as Whataburger, Shiner Beer, Costa Sunglasses and Frost Bank. As a production artist, I worked with designers, art directors, and integrators to ensure that the work we create was executed flawlessly.

Graphic Granola is a small print and web design studio based in Hyde Park with a client list full of amazing non-profits. During my time at Graphic Granola, I worked on the design and production of websites, brochures, infographics and email newsletters.

Cricket Design Works is a boutique graphic design firm that specializes in branding and web design. I started working at Cricket as an intern while still in school. I quickly connected with the rest of the team and the stellar client base and was hired full time after my graduation. Redzine is a nationally distributed women’s literary magazine produced on campus at UW–Madison. As the layout designer I was able to expand my InDesign skills and learned the art of working under tight deadlines. I designed the layout for this 80 page magazine in under a week for 3 seasons in a row while balancing a full course load.

Wisconsin Singers is a student run show choir that performs year-round. I was responsible for the design and printing of promotional materials such as posters, newsletters, tickets and ads for over 10 shows statewide. Additionally I collaborated with the business team to increase ticket sales and maintain troupe image on campus.

Radar Studios produces digital shorts, motion graphics, animations and commercials for clients big and small. As an intern I maintained the basic needs of the studio and learned how a design firm runs; as well as learned tips and techniques to better my own designs.
