Within education, there are so many different needs, expectations and judgements to manage, and that’s before you factor in your own high, and often unrealistic, expectations, relentless demands and harsh self-judgement! These constant judgements, distractions and demands create a tangle in your mind and make it hard to focus. Trying to unravel and order your thoughts on your own is frustrating and draining; pulling on them just makes things worse and much harder to unpick! This causes you to lose sight of your purpose, to rush into decisions and to make compromises to such an extent that you’re not even sure of what you believe any more.
