I'm an ambitious and motivated provisional psychologist and I have great passion for providing therapy that identifies individual strengths so it can create opportunities for individuals to thrive instead of trying to fit into neurotypical 'norms'. As a psychology student, I wish to expand my knowledge and experience by being exposed to neurodiversity-affirmative therapy approaches that focus on positive psychology. With previous experience of assisting with therapy programs for the mental wellbeing of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I believe I can contribute to support mental health so clients can be seen and heard. I am very eager to gain exposure and practical experience by working in a clinic and team that supports neurodiversity-affirmative therapy approaches.
