When working with performers from the Art world’s A, B and C lists, Rachael knows how to accommodate their needs and interests from preconcert jitters, to making sure the stage is set to their specific directions. She made performers available and accessible to the media, but also maintained their back stage privacy when needed. With her diverse event audience, she establishes immediate rapport, keeping them informed and comfortable, especially during the George Mason University Preconcert Discussions, where I had the pleasure to lead numerous events. It was always fascinating to watch Rachael step up on to the podium and garner immediate (and friendly) attention and a quiet room in seconds. Events always began and ended on time. Speakers such as myself, knew exactly what was expected, and Rachael made it possible for me to deliver a focused, authoritative and relevant presentation without interference or distraction from anyone – including herself. Whatever I asked for, from equipment, to updated program information and bios, to artist access, she delivered it all effortlessly…before I arrived.
