Combining my passion for sustainability and outreach, spearheaded the initiation of the CWRA McMaster Chapter, managed a team of 10+ individuals, coordinated webinars and experiential experiences, and collaborated with industry and community organizations to build sustainable programming for McMaster students interested the field of water resources

• Designed concrete footings using CSA A23.3 and the Canadian Foundation Engineering Manual, while analyzing and applying results from geotechnical reports• Performed manual load run-down calculations using Excel for low-rise residential buildings and analyzed and troubleshot against ETABs models• Designed structural members including wood beams, steel columns, concrete piers, and wood shear walls

Conducted research and engaged with stakeholders and local organizations to identify global and community challenges relating to the built environment to scope real-world projects in stormwater management, community safety, active transportation, and climate change mitigation

• Led and mentored over 20 multidisciplinary teams in the development of their community consulted projects, training them to pitch innovative solutions to infrastructure and transportation challenges• Designed and led project development workshops to deliver 100+ students with the skills to develop meaningful solutions with the goal of project continuity, professional growth, and real-world problem-solving skills• Contributed to three years of research and development thereby increasing enrollment and expansion of the program by over 100% from its infancy

• Performed detailed and organized quantity take-offs for civil, utility, and structural engineering scopes under strict deadlines using Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and Excel for the Credit River Bridge Improvements Project, Lakeshore West Rail Expansion Project, and Ottawa Highway 417 Expansion Project• Enhanced problem-solving and innovation skills through collaboration with Joint Venture companies and designers in quantity reconciliation and optimization• Routinely referenced PA and EA documents, OPS and OTM standards, and other regulatory standards• Accelerated subcontractor bid management and cost analysis through SmartBid, Building Connected software, and Excel spreadsheets• Supported in various other project management duties including report writing, document control, meeting minutes, and research and development• Proactively developed an interactive historical Key Performance Index (KPI) spreadsheet consolidating productivity metrics from past projects

Collaborated with six students from several disciplines in a year-long project to enhance cyclist safety in the City of Hamilton. We conducted a traffic impact analysis using PTV VISSIM on Emerson St and determined that the addition of a bike lane would have minimal effect on the major intersection, Main and Emerson St. Our project culminated by presenting our project scope, problem statement, and solution to professors and city stakeholders.
