FOOD SAFETY:> Implement and manage all aspects of food safety in accordance with BRC 7 including: * Perform monthly internal audits and lead monthly management review meetings. * Review, write, and track corrective actions and non-conformances. * Develop training programs on food safety and conduct trainings in English & Spanish (through translator). * Conduct mock recalls and traceability audits on product and packaging. * Evaluate SSOP procedures, develop improvements, and revise related policies. * Review and revise HACCP plan and risk assessments. > Help implement continuous improvement benchmarks to measure progress and results. > Co-manage 3rd party audits (BRC 7 and Organic) * Facility received a AA grade on latest BRC 7 audit. MARKETING:> Develop and manage social media platforms.> Assist sales associates with product development, research and marketing. > Review and design packaging, flyers, and web materials.> Grow and develop customer relationships.

> Researched and compiled international trade data for small business entrepreneurs. > Developed customized reports to aid business decisions abroad. > Identified potential export markets, transportation logistics, and marketing strategies. > Collaborated with a team of diverse talents and perspectives to create positive and productive business solutions. > Worked alongside my supervisor to create a training program for future interns. *The training program that we developed was awarded the 2014 Award of Excellence by the University Economic Development Association.
