Whilst supporting a portfolio of senior leaders and their operational teams with HR business partner related matters, I managed two specialist areas - employee engagement and change management. This involved leading our annual employee engagement survey process, result analysis and engagement with senior management, presenting our results. I mentored the HR Advisors to analyse results within their portfolio areas, and supported the development of action plans to encourage positive change.

12 month secondment developing the change management strategy and associated people change plans and risk analysis for a new facility based in Lincoln, Canterbury, using the Prosci methodology. Lead the Change Management post implementation review for a joint relocation project, based in Palmerston North in conjunction with senior leaders across three institutions.

Operating through collaborative partnerships across the organisation, delivering a value-add service through a pro-active operating model. Coaching and supporting Managers through people issues, employment and industrial relations, change processes and performance and disciplinary processes; working closely with leadership teams assessing and antipating HR needs.

A 4 month contract role working alongside my HR Business Partner position at AgResearch. I supported Connetics with an organisational change process, working with senior, strategic leaders. I was required to make relationships and connections with people, and to organisation values and goals quickly to effectively lead a change process that successfully aligned an internal function to the strategic direction of the organisation.

Advising on IEA and Collective Agreements, job sizing, policy and legislation. Strong ER focus and building leadership capability to reduce reliance on the Coaching and Consulting Group, empowering leaders to be proactive and confident with HR processes and decisions.

Strategic projects included the upgrade of the careers page and the development of the Apprentice and Graduate Programs, building relationships with tertiary providers.
