Born in County Durham, North-East England. I pride myself on my experience within the customer service industry and have always found it easy to build rapports whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism at any task at hand.I have a proven record of delivering at pace, as per my CV, in previous roles I have been in positions where I have successfully led and effectively managed a team where targets and KPIs have been exceeded in a compliant manner. These various management positions have enabled me to regularly monitor my own and my teams work against expectations, create processes and implement a target focused delivery of services all whilst managing quality assurance. With this experience, I understand the importance of proactively managing employee and stakeholder relations and creating and maintaining a successful and diverse workforce. In many of my positions there have been instances where priorities and demands have been conflicting between staff, management, commissioners etc, in order to manage this effectively it is important to remain positive and ensure the whole team has aligned priorities and efforts. In the past I have done this by scheduling feedback meetings, holding regular reviews and 1:1s and proactively ensuring needs are met when setting milestones.I pride myself on the ability to make effective decisions by gathering evidence and data to support accurate, expert decisions and advice. This has been evident in previous roles, specifically target driven and KPI based roles, where I have had to implement new sales strategies and marketing drives to achieve results all whilst considering alternative options, implications and potential risks. In my sales-based team lead roles I have also been responsible for confidently making difficult decisions, some unpopular. This involved researching and analysing various sources of information, such as year on year sales and market research, to support such decisions and having the knowledge to confidently explain these decisions. I also believe that with the ability and responsibility to make effective decisions also comes a need to understand the importance of consulting with team members, stakeholders and management to discuss any risks or concerns that may have not been previously identified and to ensure that the potential impacts on everyone involved have been considered. This can also empower others to confidently make effective decisions which is something that I strongly encourage.
